The players wore their sponsored shirts while boarding flights from Scotland to Portugal and during their arrival in Albufeira, where they explored local sights and had lunch.
Despite their enthusiasm, the tournament did not result in victory for Pollok United. The team faced challenges beyond their control, with four players forced to withdraw due to unforeseen circumstances. This left the squad with only one substitute available for the demanding two-day competition in intense Portuguese heat.
Though they didn't win, the team displayed commendable spirit and camaraderie. Crime Time Inc. praised their "resilience and sportsmanship, embodying the values that lie at the heart of both Crime Time Inc. and Pollok United."
